Previous to the experience described in the last post, I had this interchange with Elysse:
Dad: (denies Elysse something she asked for - with good reason I'm sure)
Elysse: (eyes drop, grouchy face appears, she looks away as she lays on the ground)
Dad: "Elysse, are you pouting?"
Elysse: (true to form as of late she makes up an excuse) "Um, no... I was... just... waiting for true love's kiss!"
