September Long Weekend at the Cabin

Being in California all summer means we don't get to spend very much time at the cabin. So we've made a tradition of spending our September long weekends there, and packing as much in as we can. We had such a fun weekend (poor Dave had to stay home and work). So here it is in pictures:

wagon rides,

wagon rides with binoculars,
husking corn,
(mmm... Taber corn!)

golfing,
studying maps,
(at this point they were looking for the bake sale down the street on the Alberta map, which is actually a funny story... Elysse handed the girl $6 for a 25 cent cookie and the girl didn't give any change. It was funny when you were standing there!)

building forts,
more wagon rides,

flying kites,

taking pictures,

taking more pictures,

and even cuter pictures,

playing games,
cuddling in the wind,
and... sleeping!
Thanks, everyone! We had such a fun time!

What great family fun, how did you pack it all in? I especially love the picture of all the girls together - that's a keeper!

Both your girls are so adorable. I just love Elysse's smile and curls. They are too cute!
