I'm not exaggerating when I say that EVERYTHING I've made out of this cookbook, we have loved. If you are looking for a new kitchen muse, Rose Reisman is it, and her Family Favorites has all the inspiration you'll need to change up your meal plans.
I made the fingerling potatoes with olive oil, sea salt and fresh rosemary the other day, and Dave said that they were the very best potatoes he ever had. How about that for a pat on the back?!
And the macaroni and cheese recipe in there is also the best one I've tried (and there have been many tries since this day).
I'll post my new favourite recipe EVER from this book soon... Let me know if you get/already have this book.
Tonight's menu is on pg. 134: potato corn chowder. Perfect for when we get back from our walk on this cloudy day!
